  1. I've done this cruise. You can le them know when they ask about your flight time that you have a late flight. They'll call you later or last. I think they have everyone off by 930 or 10 AM anyway tho. They need to clean and get ready for the new crowd! They have post cruise tours available to cape canaveral (very close and good) where you could spend hours and still get to ORL  by 5. Or go to orlando early and go to seaworld or some other activity.

  2. Usually last call is between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m, unless immigration is going quickly, then it could be earlier.

Not much later than that, as they have new passengers they need to board.

Staterooms must be vacated no later than 8:00 a.m.

  3. idealy they like you off as soon as possible so they can get ready for the next group. You might be able to make it til 9 or 10a if the ship is slow to disembark. ...if you are flying out of Orlando you have almost an hour drive to the airport anyway so you might want to look at excursions the ship offers for the trip back to the airport...have fun

  4. I have been on many many cruises on several cruise lines and they all want you off the ship by about 10:00AM.  Well before the cruise is over the cruise line will ask you about your departure schedule; they will want to know what time you have a flight, or whether you are driving home.  Then you and everyone else will be given luggage tags that are color coded and designed for those with the earliest flight to leave the ship first. Those with later flights or who are driving will go last.

Now while you may be leaving later,  they also want you out of the cabin as soon as possible so that it can be cleaned.  So plan on getting up and getting breakfast and then taking your things to a lounge or place on deck somewhere.  When its time for you to leave the ship you must leave because your luggage will be waiting in an area with all other luggage and you must also go through custom and immigration; those officials will be waiting also.

So plan on about 10:00 Am at the latest.

  5. Well now days with the big airport ordeal you may appreicate all that extra time.   You may want to check in with the airlines and make sure everything is still AOK and that you flights are still scheduled on-time.  You have to get transportation to the airport, check your luggage, pay any extra fees, clear security... then make your way to gate.  So maybe you would like to stop at the pier and pick up a few last minute souviers and mail off a few post cards... now that you got extra time you can take your time.

But like the other person that answered stated, the cleaning crew wants to get in and start their day ASAP because the new guests are arrival and will be boarding the ship shortly.... however, your deck may not be cleared to leave the ship so everyone goes off to have their last breakfast aboard the ship...

Don't worry: The ship will make several announcements about which decks have cleared customs ...

Keep in mind, there are several different ways this is done... Sometimes they do this by decks, some do it by announcing the entire ship is free  to leave the ship...

If you are smart you will have pack your backs, and leave them outside your door the night before for pick up... Don't forget to take the clothing you are wearing....

So enjoy breakfast and book your next cruise SOON!

  6. I've been on a couple cruises, and they always wanted everyone off the ship by about 11:00 am.  The crew likes to clean the ship up before new guests come on board.  Since it docks at 7:30 am, you will have enough time to eat breakfast, complete final packings (in the bags you carry off yourself), then you will have to depart...

I'm sorry you will have to wait for a while, but there are restaurants and stores at the airport.  Purchase a book or magazines and maybe a snack.  :)

    Have a fun cruise!

  7. You'll probably need to be out of your cabin by 8 a.m., depending on which line you're cruising on.  You then wait in a public area for your color to be called.  Most passengers are off the ship by about 10:00 or so.
