Time to give Kobe the props he deserves?

Question

This is Alpha (OG Alpha) and I feel I need to give Kobe the props he deserves. I've been hating on Kobe in the past (Part just to p**s of Kobe fans, part to some extent I believe he is overrated) but I wanted to say regardless of everything I think he's one h**l of a player and congrats to him on the Gold Medal.

Kobe has grown up a lot this past summer as he chose not to retaliate to Shaq's diss at the club.  He has shown more maturity when he talks and leads by example.  I give him much props for what he did for the U.S.A. Basketball Team but Jason Kidd deserves as much credit.  Credit also goes out to D-Wade's re-emergence this summer and LeBron's transformation into a leader as well.  It was a pleasure watching the Men's Basketball Team this summer because they not only had fun doing it but they also put U.S.A. Basketball back on top.

kobe has always been my favorite player he makes the most amazing shots a lot of people only hated him cause he was better than their own favorite player and also said he sucked saying the weirdest reasons:he missed 2 fts!!!! (etc) lol

The final olympic basketball game was probably his finest moment in basketball beside the 81 points performance and you have to give him prop for delivering when the olympic team needed it the most.  I am not a big Kobe fan but I respect his game and if you love the game then you can't but help respect his ability.

I think the last couple of years not being one of the best teams  and the debacle last summer Kobe has grown up a lot and he appreciate his teammates more and he is willing to recognize other players and this is making him a more likable player but when he first came into the league his attitude was that his chit doesn't smell and that turned a lot of people off including me but I never criticized his talent because it is one of the best talent in history.  

The big debate who better kobe or jordan can be argue both ways for years to come but what made Jordan more likable across the board was that he was confident and a little cocky at times and so is Kobe but Jordan  had respect for other players where I don't think Kobe did with  his first few years in the league.

Why you are on the Kobe band wagon, please let's not forget he was charged with rape in a very liberal state of CO.

So, Kobe the nice guy he is gave this woman alot C A $ H, just so, that she would not press charges and keep her off the witness stand.

Unlike IN.  where Mike Tyson was convicted even though the girl did not want to press charges, the IN. district attroney filed hte charges anyway and forced her into the taking the stand.

CO. doesn't care, and they enjoy their donuts and coffee.

So, I am not with you.

Even though Im not for or against Kobe, he always gets my props for his greatness. 81 points, 3 titles, a gold medal, 5 finals appearances, it goes on and on.

He is top 15 at least all time.

I agree. Can't believe I'm admitting to it, but Kobe kinda sorta turned me into a semi-fan! Lol...I'm anti-Laker and anti-Kobe all the way, but his performance in that gold medal game was amazing. I believe Dwayne Wade turned me into a fan too! (didn't like him bc they beat the Mavs in the finals). Gawd, I hope no one I know sees this post! Lol

Whos the f*g that says "he still shows off"    dude killyourself     second when kobe and t-mac were at it t- mac was better  source all-start match up------ but yeah he can get sum but the props go to Wade first LB second...only reason why Kobe gets props is becuase he played d all the way thru the tourney......and you finally wanna give props why becuase they're playing the international team who rank where NBDL college players are no deal....he's been good, oh yeah maybe you should've gave him props when he scored 8o sumthing.....lol       He dont desrve or need props.....he gets mills then buys people like you to give him props....on his Jock????

Well you know I'm a Lakers fan,So its cool to see someone give Kobe his props!

We all Love USA !But i did find it strange that people still hate Kobe,Lebron and even D Wade.When we should have been on the same page supporting team USA.
