I plan to watch the live feed here -> http://www.exploratorium.edu/eclipse/2008/index.html

Of the Solar eclipse, on August 1st, 2008.

It says "10:30 - 11:30 UT".. but I need to know what time in CENTRAL that will be, for me (I live in MB, Canada). Thank you very much!

  1. Why not go to the NASA eclipse web site

  2. According to http://www.worldtimezone.com/time-canada... Manitoba is on CDT (Central Daylight Time). You would therefore subtract 5 hours from UT to obtain your local time. That would mean you need to watch from 5.30 to 6.30 a.m.

Subtracting 6 hours would be correct for CST in winter but not summer.
