  1. It's not "bad", but it's time to learn them.  You can use flashcards.  Try this website for a game that's more fun than flashcards (but involves battling ogres and such, so make sure it's okay with your parents first).

  2. This will be a problem for him when he reaches higher grades.

    Here is a website you can use to help him:http://www.multiplication.com/interactiv...

    He is very lucky to have a concerned sibling.  Well done!

  3. Think of math as a language, the more you use it the better he will become at it. There are flash cards, test sheets online and other things you can help to get him better at them.  The other thing you should do is show him how it relates to addition.

    For example:

    2x8=16

    2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2=16  or  8+8=16

  4. THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO KNOW THEIR TIMES TABLES IN 3RD GRADE. USE VISUALS SO THAT HE COULD BETTER UNDERSTAND IT, USE PENICLS OR BLOCKS ARE USUALLY GOOD

  5. That's a 3rd grade skill, so he's a little behind. He just has to memorize them, and different people memorize things in different ways. I learned mine with the Schoolhouse Rock videos on times tables. Other people learn better with flash cards or an abacus.

  6. interactive and creative games like bingo

  7. make a colorful chart and make up some creative games to help him out.
