  1. This from the 1871 English census:

    Name: Thomas Timlin

    Birth Date: abt 1861

    Birth Place: Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England

    Residence Date: 1871

    Residence Place: Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England

Parents: Anthony Timlin (b abt 1821) and Mary (b abt 1832)

    He married Mary Farrell (b 1862) m abt 1884.

    Children:

Catharine Lynch Timlin F 1886 in Pennsylvania

Cecelia Timlin F 1888 in Pennsylvania

William Thomas Timlin M 22 Jan 1891 in Pennsylvania

Lawrence Edward Timlin M 9 Jan 1893 in Pennsylvania

Anna Timlin F 1895 in Pennsylvania

Joseph Thomas Timlin M 16 Jan 1897 in Pennsylvania

Leo Bernard Timlin M 16 Jan 1899 in Pennsylvania

Helen Timlin F 1901 in Pennsylvania

Andrew Timlin M 7 Mar 1903 in Philadelphia

There is no marriage record online for Mary Farrell and Thomas Timlin. I also can't find any passenger records for them. That doesn't mean the records don't exist, it just means that no one digitized them. Given what we know about the kids, I would venture that Mary and Thomas were married in Pennsylvania ca 1885. I would contact Philadelphia Co and see if they have the record. You could also use the records on the family to figure out which church they'd have been married at and contact the parish office for a copy of the sacramental register. That will definitely give you the names of Mary's parents.

There aren't any military records for Thomas, Andrew or Anthony, so that won't help. They came over long after the Potato Famine, so the odds are that they weren't on a ship that has its passenger list transcribed online yet. The reason, simply enough, is that the lists from Ireland in the 1870s literally had thousands of people on them. How they crammed all those people on one ship is mind-boggling. The passenger lists are a dozen or more pages long and very difficult to transcribe. So they're slower in finding their way online.
