Timothy Bradley: I am putting it all on the line so you are going to see a great fight – Boxing News
The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas will probably be the biggest bout of the year, at least that is what both pugilists believe. In his recent conference call, Timothy Bradley asserted that he is putting
up all on the line against Pacquiao so the match will a great one.
While on one end Manny Pacquiao believes he is ready to knock out Bradley, the latter is no less confident. Bradley has asserted time and again that this will Pacquiao’s most brutal defeat in his career and so the Filipino should be ready for a tough fight.
Now, Bradley asserts, “I’m putting it all on the line so you are going to see a great fight. If you miss this fight, you are going to miss some greatness. This is the beginning of a new career. This is like my first fight all over again.”
Pacquiao is currently training at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles owned by his trainer Freddie Roach. Bradley currently stands with an unbeaten record. He has stepped in the ring 28 times and has always emerged victorious. However, this time he is a 3 is
to 1 underdog for the fight. Most analysts and former fighters, including Ricky Hatton, believe Manny Pacquiao will beat Bradley easily. However, they are expecting Pacquiao to put on a dominating and impressive performance, unlike his last year’s match against
Juan Manuel Marquez.
Just 6 days away from the bout, Pacquiao believes he is hungry for victory and once he is in the ring with Bradley he will unleash his fury over the ‘Desert Storm’. Similarly, even his trainer Freddie Roach believes that the Filipino has everything on the
line, which will push him to greater extents. Pacquiao is currently considered the best pound for pound in the industry, yet many analysts doubt his capabilities. Pacquiao will be defending his WBO Welterweight title on June 9 along with his status of being
the number one fighter in the world. A loss to Bradley can hurt Pacquiao’s global image.
