Timothy Bradley: I can do anything to win – Boxing News
Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley held a press conference at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for their upcoming bout on June 9 at the same venue. On the event, Joel Diaz and Freddie Roach were present too. Both fighters spoke about their preparations and what
fans should expect on the big day.
Bradley, the unbeaten American fighter, sounded more confident and happy about the match than Manny Pacquiao. He pulled out a huge ticket and said to his wife, “Here baby, I want you to have the first ticket. I’m ready to shock the world. I’m ready to do
anything I need to do to win. I’m ready to go to war.”
He further added, “I’m not scared of Pacquiao. I’m not going to be tapping his gloves before each round like it’s a brother-in-law fight. I’m not going to give him all that respect. He has to know he’s in a real fight.”
Bradley called his training camp ‘h**l’ where he learned a lot and now he is ready to end the Filipino’s career. Manny Pacquiao will be putting his title on the line on June 9, whereas Timothy Bradley will bring his unbeaten streak to the ring. The bout
is important for both the fighters, as both of them have their points to prove. After a sluggish performance last year against Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao’s fighting capabilities are in doubt. Therefore, the WBO Welterweight champion needs to prove
that he still is the number one pound for pound fighter in the world.
On the other hand, this will be Bradley’s first ever mega-bout against a super-fighter like Manny Pacquiao. Therefore, the unbeaten American needs to prove his mettle against the Pac-man to get a career boost. In his previous interviews, Bradley has expressed
his desire of fighting with top-notch fighters such as Mayweather and Marquez, after, according to him, he defeats Manny Pacquiao.
For now, both fighters are highly confident of their fighting skills and only in the ring will it be proven as to who is the better man. Bradley is the underdog for the fight, which makes it even more important for him to win and prove his stint to the naysayers.
