Timothy Bradley: I look forward to matching myself with top fighters – Boxing News
Unbeaten American fighter Timothy Bradley is confident that he can beat WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Bradley has already considered himself the winner and he is now making plans of taking on Juan Manuel
Marquez and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
In his recent interview, Bradley, who will be challenging Manny Pacquiao, said, “Because there is a rematch clause in our fight contract, I will have to beat Manny Pacquiao again in November. After that, I look forward to matching myself with top fighters,
like Juan Manuel Marquez, Floyd Mayweather. "I feel that I have every attribute to beat him and to give him a lot of problems there. Tune in on June 9, when I destroy Manny Pacquiao. I know at the end of the fight I will have my had raised. I am going to be
the winner, plain and simple.”
Right from the day the match between Bradley and Pacquiao was announced, the ‘Desert Storm’ was confident that this would be his moment to dethrone the Filipino. In his previous interviews, Bradley has shown respect towards Pacquiao, yet he has asserted
that Pacquiao is done for good and that he will knock him out brutally.
On the other hand, the Filipino believes that Timothy Bradley will not be able to face him. According to Pacquiao, Bradley will be helpless in front of his speed and power. Not only Pacquiao, even his trainer Freddie Roach believes that the Filipino pride
will kill Bradley in the ring. Earlier this month, when Roach was asked to predict the fight result, he said that Pacquiao is in good shape and he will knock Bradley out by round six.
Both the sides are confident of their fighters and it definitely is tough to predict the result, as both the pugilists are in good shape. Bob Arum, promoter for Manny Pacquiao, saw Bradley’s media workout and said that Bradley can be an upset in the ring
for Pacquiao. According to Arum, Bradley is in good shape and he might be a problem for Pacquiao on June 9.
