Timothy Bradley says Manny Pacquiao can be defeated – Boxing news
Manny Pacquiao’s upcoming opponent Timothy Bradley says that Manny can be beaten easily and that he is not invincible.
Both the boxers are due to fight on June 9 with Manny Pacquiao’s titles on the line.
Pacquiao is the bigger name between the both, however Bradley does not seem to be intimidated by his presence
In a recent interview, Bradley asserted, “He (Pacquiao) can be beat. I just need to get in there and follow my game plan. I know his weaknesses, his favorite combinations. In my mind, I'm definitely going to win. I'll take it to this guy.”
Timothy Bradley signed a contract to fight Manny Pacquiao this week after thorough consideration of the odds. Manny Pacquiao is the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion who was in talks to fight Floyd Mayweather from America.
However, after a long chain of dialogues from both the parties, Floyd and Pacquiao, nothing seemed to be working out. Therefore, both the fighters changed their route.
As of now, Mayweather will be fighting Cotto on May 5 whereas Pacquiao will be fighting Bradley.
Bradley spoke about his fight with Pacquiao. “This will be no walk in the park for Manny Pacquiao,” said Bradley, owner of a 28-0 record, but only with 12 KOs. “This is about being the No. 1 fighter in the world, and that's what my goal has been for as long
as I can remember. I've been waiting for this my whole life.”
Right now, Manny Pacquiao is the favourite of the fight since Timothy Bradley is not as good as him, at least that is what the majority thinks. However, Bradley wants to change this perception by defeating Manny Pacquiao and being the best in the world.
If Bradley defeats Pacquiao, he will definitely be the number 1 fighter of the world.
Hailing from America, Bradley is an unbeaten fighter to date. For him, taking up this match was challenge since he had to put up his undefeated streak on line against the best fighter Manny Pacquiao. He will either win the title or lose his streak so it
is important for him to give his best shot this time.
