Timothy Bradley says he does not even fear Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather – Boxing news
The Desert Storm, Timothy Bradley, who is the current World Boxing Organisation World Light Welterweight Champion, is fully geared up ahead of his fight with the Cuban pugilist, Joel Casamayor, and has claimed he is ready to face even the likes of Manny
Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.
The 28-year-old Bradley, who carries a record of winning 27 of his 28 professional fights (1 no contest), with 11 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, will take on Joel ‘El Cepillo’ Casamayor this weekend on the undercard of a much-anticipated trilogy
bout between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bradley knows there will be a huge crowd in the arena tomorrow night but he has claimed he is not worried about the people watching him. He told the media he is in the best shape of his life and insisted people are going to see a top performance from him
in the ring.
“It's Timothy Bradley time. I'm in the best shape that I could possibly be in, man. There's nothing that I fear,” he said in rapid-fire chatter. “No one that I fear. I don't fear Manny Pacquiao, I don't fear (Floyd) Mayweather. I'm ready for
anybody. I'm going to have a great performance Saturday night. I feel it. He can't stop me,” Bradley said.
Bradley has not fought since he retained his title by beating Devon Alexander earlier this year in January and he thinks Alexander’s fight did nothing good for his career.
“I've only fought twice in the last two years, guys, and I don't understand why. I came up with the biggest fights of my career, and I didn't move anywhere. The Devon fight didn't do nothing for my career,” he said.
Bradley has joined Top Rank and he recently called upon Amir Khan for a fight. However, he was turned down by Khan because the Brit believes he is the cashcow now and therefore does not want to have a 50-50 split with Bradley.
Therefore, let’s see if Bradley really beats Casamayor on the fight night as Casamayor is also a very skilled boxer.
