Tindaro, a threat to Kandari in Bet totequadpot Text Tote To 89660 Novices´ Chase at Worcester
Can Tindaro outpace Kandari - a question every bettor has in mind at Worcester. The two giants are due to lock horns in the Bet totequadpot Text Tote To 89660 Novices´ Chase, taking place on September 11, 2012.
If one expects Tindaro to get the better of Kandari, it will not be a foolish move by any means. The latter is certainly a high profile runner, and carries the ability to win a race of this nature. But his recent stats are so poor that one should think twice
before trusting him blindly.
Trained by Jonjo O'Neill, the 8-year-old is coming off an embarrassing defeat. He was seen finishing 12th behind Snap Tie in the Boylesports.com "Official Betting Partner Of The Irish Soccer Team" Handicap Hurdle (Grade C) at Punchestown. Under
Mark Walsh, he was recently good in the beginning, but lost the rhythm afterwards.
Owned by John P. McManus, the son of Kahyasi started off this season very well. After staying out of action for almost two years, the Christian Thulliez-bred returned strongly to ensure the second spot in the Mirror Punters Club Handicap Hurdle at Market
Rasen.
Failing to perpetuate his good work, Kandari performed poorly in the www.thetote.com Handicap Hurdle (Grade B) at Fairyhouse in April. Under Richie McLernon, he held up towards rear, and was brought down. After a couple of awful outings, his confidence would
be at a low.
On the other hand, Tindaro is full of spirit following a recent strike. After facing a few unlucky defeats, the Paul Webber-trained got his act together, and displayed a fascinating show in Fontwell’s Casino At bet365 Beginners' Chase at the end of last
month.
Under Denis O'Regan, the 9-2 chance travelled nicely to track the leaders early on. After going second in the middle stages, he shifted his gears to lead almost a couple of furlongs before the wire. An excellent effort helped him upset the 6-4 favourite,
Alfraamsey, by staggering seven lengths.
Owned by The Tindaro Partnership, Tindaro is currently in far better form than Kandari. So, one can easily expect him to dominate the proceedings today. Good luck to all the horses.
