Tindaro leads market for Novices’ Hurdle – Stratford Preview
Tindaro is leading the betting market for the high-stakes race of Wedding Wines From Bordeaux Undiscovered Novices’ Hurdle which will be held at Stratford racecourse on Saturday, March 31.
The Class 4 contest over 2m110y distance is scheduled to start at 2:15 (GMT). For the big prize money worth £3,249, the Paul Webber-trained grey gelding will compete against Peadar Miguel, Allez Les Rouges, Anywhere, Honoured, Notarfbad, The Names Harry,
Alayir, Daddyow and Dark Spirit.
Tindaro has won 2 out of his total 17 races so far. Making his debut in July 2009, the maverick horse bagged his maiden victory on September 18, 2009. He registered his second and last triumph in September 2010.
The talented young gelding delivered some outstanding performances in his last three outings. After finishing 6th in Felix Rosenstiel’s Widow @ Son Introductory Hurdle on November 18, 2011, he grabbed third top spot in the next race on December
5.
In his last start on January 5, 2012, the dashing horse again claimed 6th position against a dozen of competitors.
Thus, he is carrying immense form and fighting spirit at the moment. If he manages to make an appropriate use of his capabilities, he can easily add third victory to his portfolio. The hot favourite gelding’s chances to thrive are more than 90 percent.
Among the other runners, Dark Spirit and Peadar Miguel are likely to perform well in the race.
Dark Spirit accomplished a big triumph along with a runner-up rank during August 2011. Alison Thorpe’s bay filly elegantly won a race again in the month of September. Overall, she has two triumphs to her name.
On the other hand, Peadar Miguel has won 3 out of his 23 starts to date. After winning a race convincingly in June 2011, the Noel Quinlan-trained gelding moved forward to clinch a runner-up rank each in the three subsequent outings.
Thus, there will be a fairly close contest among these three runners. Let us see how Tindaro manages to come up to the expectations of the punters. Good luck to all the runners.
