Tingling sensation in fingers when running.?

I just started running and walking a few miles a day. I get a tignling sensation in my fingers, mostly at the tips. What is this?

  2. Sounds like lack of oxygen. Take deeper longer breaths.  Breathe in rhythm with your running. It worked for me.

  3. If you clench your fists too tightly, or keep your hands too high blood circulation to the tips decreases.  

    i ran cross country and would get that same tingly sensation, i  would hold my hands by my side for a few moments to increase the blood flow and ease the sensation.

  4. when you run your arms are supposed to be in a 90 degree angle when you run correctly, but usually most people don't, so their hands are slightly below their heart. this makes all the blood run to your hands (notice how they get really pink). this can cause sensations in your hand. Or, if they hugged too close to your body, above your heart, your hands are losing blood, and the body triggers nerves to tingle, also. so if your arms are not at 90 degrees that happens sometimes. its normal though.
