Question:

Tingly feeling in hand?

I have been feeling tingly in my left hand. It doesn't really hurt but it kind of feels like pins and needles. Its only when I put pressure on it tho...it started like 2 days ago. I've been doing LOTS of push ups using a weight. So I was putting lots of pressure on my hands and I'm pretty sure its by that. Would this go away? And should I stop using the weight and do regular push ups?

  1. Sounds like a pinched nerve.

i had one and turned black.

Make sure you don slouch too much cuz that can cause it too

  2. When you say you have tingling feelings in your left hand...where in

your left hand. Is it in your little finger and ring finger or is it in the

first three fingers or is all over. The pins and needles sensation always means nerve involvement. there is a large nerve called the ulnar nerve which runs down the back of your arm from your shoulder. If you have

pinched that nerve it will cause the two fingers to tingle. If you have

pinched the nerve that runs in the front of your arm it is the three fingers that have been effected. It sounds very much like you have got a pinched nerve in your shoulder/neck area. I would lay off the weights and just do regular push ups and you should see an improvement in a couple of days. I think you were overdoing it.
