Tino Best credits coach Ottis Gibson for improvements – Cricket News Update
Tino Best, the West Indies fast bowler, on Wednesday credited head coach http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ottis-Delroy-Gibson-c80358 for the overall improvement in his game, since his return to the national setup in May this year.
The 30-year-old Barbados fast bowler, who remained out of the national squad for several years, is confident of cementing his place in the team under Gibson’s astute guidance.
"Ten years ago, I never had a coach to tell me how to bowl to the best of my ability, highlighting the area of my bowling and how to do better, but Gibson is doing a great job as our coach," said Best while speaking to media reporters ahead of the ODI series

last month, the right-hander also hit a record breaking 95 - the highest score by a No. 11 batsman in the history of Test cricket.
Best did not rate himself as a potential tail ender; however, he did opine that he was willing to help the side with the bat, when needed. He further added that he was also working on his shot selections.
"I don't see myself as a number 11, but someone who can make a contribution with a bat," said best. "I also need to be more selective in the shots I attempt and in general be a more mature cricketer," he added.
The Barbadian was not part of the squad that whitewashed http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 2-0 in the neutral venue Test series; however, he is raring to go when the five-match ODI series gets underway at Sabina Park tomorrow.
