The Argentine is keen on leaving Spanish side Valencia this summer and the club is not going to stand in the player’s way if the likes of Lille and Montpellier want his services
Despite being a regular feature for La Liga side Valencia last season, Argentine international, Tino http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Costa-c9458’s future lies beyond the autonomous Valencian Community. The 27-year-old left Ligue 1 side Montpellier to sign for Los Che in the summer of 2010 and
despite some good performances, the midfielder is no more inclined to stay at the club.
After two seasons in the eastern coast of the Iberian region, the Argentine international wants a change and has a lot of good offers on the table. The likes of Malaga, LOSC Lille and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 are interested in the services of the former Paris FC player.
Even his former club, Montpellier Herault is ready to bring him back to the Mosson where he initially made a big name for himself. However, the reigning Ligue 1 champions face stiff competition from Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
However, the Turks have not made a substantial offer for the player so Valencia are open to listening to offers from other clubs. The player’s agent, Ruben Munoz, while talking to media, revealed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 are not going to block Costa’s move if a club
comes up with the right offer for his client.
“We were reported of the offer made by Fenerbahce, but Valencia told us that the proposal will be insufficient for them to let him leave. Tino wants to leave and his leaders have promised him that if the right offer comes, they will let him go.”
Reports claim that Fenerbahce offered just 4.5 million euros for the player’s services which is nowhere near to what the club expects.
Valencia want just 6.5 million euros for Costa which means that the likes of Montpellier Herault and LOSC Lille would be able to meet the financial requirements. However, it still remains to be seen if Costa will be willing to make a return to Ligue 1 football.
Furthermore, if Fenerbahce do manage to meet Valencia’s criteria, they will be able to offer the player a much more lucrative contract which means that the player’s future is still up in the air.
