Tint window through interstate law?

If my tinting window's limit meet the requirement in my state,but not in other state,will I get ticket when I travel through the other state if it's too dark for them?

  1. No.

    If your tint  is legal in your state of residence the police will not stop you. They will see that your plates are not from their state.


  2. As long as the car was purchased and its primary location is in a state where it is legal you may get pulled over but there is nothing you can do.  They will usually only check the tinting if they have pulled you over for something else (speeding, in proper lane usage... etc).

    If you move into a new state and it is beyond state limits there is nothing they can do again because the car was purchased and used for a time in the state where it was legal.
