  1. Yes,it's cheaper to buy and tint your own window....IF YOU'RE AN EXPERT!It's hard to tint a window!Believe me,I tried!wasted $50 for NOTHING!

I went to a window tinting specialist instead..it cost me $200(5 windows total)for my chrysler 300.It may sound expensive but it's totally worth the price!

  2. it is a little hard to do but not that bad.. you will need a sqweegy, a spray bottle to fill up with dish soap and water, and a razor blade...first clean your windows with a nonamonia window cleaner, then cut a piece of tint big enough to cover the window. determine which side of the tint has the backing on it. to do this you can use two pieces of tape. at one corner of the tint put one piece of tape on each side with some of the tape hanging over the edge then pull the tape apart this should peel the backing off ( don't peal at this time you just want to find out which side it is on) now tape the tint side to the outside of the window you are going to tint (so you are out side the car with the glue side of the tint towards you ) with the razor balde trace around the window .(window closed of course) leave the bottom about a quarter inch too long.. now you should have a piece the shape of your window. next open the door and saturate the window with the soapy mixtrue you mixed up make the window very very wet.. now you can peel the backing off the tint using the tape tecnique I mentioned earlier...place the glue side of the tint against the window do not push it on just set it there is should sort of float on the soap and water... tuck the long bottom between the glass and the door... now you can slide the tint around to get it where it needs to be... once you have it where you want it. hold it with you had in the center and starting at the center sqweegy outwards pushing the soap and water out from behind it do this till all water and bubbles are out.. and the tint is flush against the window... if you have any bubbles you can't get out you can take a pin and pop them then use the sqweegy to make them flat... your done repeat for the remaining windows... don't roll the windows down for 2 days... good luck take your time and you will do a great job...

  3. I don't quite agree with S.M.It is not as easy as he makes it sound. If you don't have experience with window tinting, hire a professional. You will end up throwing away your money. It'll take a lot of window tint just to get it right.

  4. Window tinting can be made from home. You can save up to $100-200.Check out my source below for the details
