  1. If you put some vinegar in a dish ( and a tiny bit of washing up liquid to break the surface tension) then cover the dish with foil - then poke holes in the top just big enough for the flies to get through - they will drop onto the vinegar to drink it but will drown because of the washing up liquid. empty and replace about once a week - the older the vinegar the more attracted they will be to it.

I had a problem with these when i had one of those small compost bins in the kitchen so anything like that get rid of .

  2. Fruit flies, sometimes called corn flies,a good fly paper is called for,and keep the house clean,it sounds as though you have left some fruit residue somewhere and they have laid eggs in it ,or you could have brought them in on fruit, they are seasonal flies anyway.Do not use sprays where there are pets or young children.

  3. sorry to say these are not baby flies they are fruit fly this means you have some rotting or very ripe fruit or vegetation some were, or even grass clippings close to the house, and the buggers bite,so nothing for it have a good look and through it out, then spray the affected area

  4. From their tiny mum.

No, seriously, they are probably Fruit Flies.

  5. What the h**l is a baby fyie of which you have so many?

If you mean baby FLIES they're probably fruit flies which you've bought in on a bunch of bananas at some time. If you want to get rid of them before the cold weather sets in, get some fly-strips and some aerosol fly spray - and don't leave any fruit open to the air!
