Question:

Tiny brown worms in my pool?

I was playing with my dog, and his ball got muddy so I was going to rinse it off in my pool, it's just a little blow up one, in a rectangle, it wasn't even a foot deep, it only had a little water in it from the rain.

As I was reaching down to wash the ball off, I noticed there were tiny tiny worms all over the sides and in the water, I'm pretty sure it's not mosquito larvae, I looked at pictures of it, and these worms do not look like larvae, they look like regular worms you'd go fishing with, but only itty bitty, they were moving like worms, there was no chlorine or anything in the pool, or anything, just some leaves, but the water was clear, and everything, there were no other big worms or anything, a few ants and a beetle, but these little worms were ALL over the bottom of the pool, they were brown like regular worms that live in the dirt, and they even had that white/light brown spot on them like some worms do.

Does anyone know what these are?

Or how they got in there?

We were getting disgusted by it, so we dumped all the water out and washed it out with the hose, but they were just like regular worms, and again I'm almost 100% positive it was not mosquito larvae.

  2. They probably were baby night crawlers (they come out after a rain) no big deal.
