Tiny painful bump behind ear on skull?

I have a tiny pimple sized bump behind my ear on the skull NOT where my lymph nodes would be.

I checked and it is not a pimple.. it is raised slightly and I do not have it on the other ear. I have noticed it has been there since maybe the Sunday, but could have been there longer only it just started hurting since then.

It is painful to touch... when I press on it, it feels like something is under the skin.

My job consists of answering phones all day and it is on the side where I answer the phone which makes it hurt every time I do.

Any ideas what it is?

I've had them before..they go away eventually....I had a doctor look at it and I was told its nothing to worry about.

But if you are really concerned, then see a physician!

I have had them before and you don't want to rule them out as nothin you should see a doctor
