Question:

Tip for hair waxing?

I waxed my lip about 2 days ago and now there's a red mark on where I had to wax a little more and it's been there for a day and I know reddening is normal after waxing, but I was wondering how to make it fade away completely? I have an oil moisturizer that's for applying after waxing to soothe reddening and reduce irritation, but I've been using it today and it hasn't helped much. Any help on what to do? I read on the manual for the wax strips (Veet pre-waxed strips) and it said to hold a cold compress to the red spot and it should help but I was wondering if that really worked. Thanks! :) 10 points for best answer!

  1. It may be a burn, try some neosporin.

  2. Well if it's not scabbing then I don't think you took off any layers of skin, but you might of. I'm not sure if you normally wax because you didn't say you have before or not, but maybe your skin is just sensitive. I normally get my waxing done at salons, theres less percentage of something going wrong. But yeah you should hold something ice to stop the swelling and the redness. It does work.

  3. Well...i dont know how to qet rid of that ||

But next time; buy the microwavable formula from Rite Aid.

its WAYYYY better; no irration. been using it for a few years. Never had a problem! good luck!
