Tipping Question?

At Sweet Tomatoes (the restaurant) should I or am I suppose to leave a tip for the people that clear the table after I leave?

I mean, its a self serve buffet, but they have people that take the plates away. SO are you suppose to leave a tip for them or no?

i don't see why not, unless you're trying to save a dollar. They don't expect to get a huge tip, just a little something out of courtesy.

at a normal restaurant i tip 15-20% so at a buffet i usually do 10%

i agree 10 percent is fine maybe a dollar or two, no more than that, but if it's no sweat off your hands, the more you give them the better.  They don't have great jobs, because either they're teens or have no or little education.  So make sure you're gracious and leave SOMETHING.

It isn't necessary to tip; however if the staff was curteous and they cleared your dishes promptly, it would be a nice gesture.
