  1. 10 to 15 % is normally average

  2. we always get delivery. it comes to about $30. always give him $5.00. worth that to not start the car.

  3. Thanks only.

  4. You got me. I'm a bellman so I just get tips everyday a the rate of 2 dollars per bag, but for a pizza? If you solve this let me know!!!

  5. Our order usually comes to around $27.00 and I give them $30.00($3.00 tip) but if the weather is bad or I have extra money I will give more.

  6. I usually tip the deliverer 15%-20%.

  7. A waiter in a rstaurant gets about 20% , an average tip for a delivery driver is about 10% of the bill (before tax).

  8. I always tip about 15%. They aren't serving you your food like in restaurants (i tip around 20-25% there) however, they are making a trip to bring you the pizza.

  9. Really good service - $5

    Good service - $4 to $5

    Poor service, but okay - $3 - $4

Crappy service - Nothing + a complaint to the manager. :3

  10. I used to deliver pizzas, and we made minimum wage, plus .90 per delivery, so I know. The wear and tear on your car is insane, as is the gas. I always give the driver at least$5, depending on the order, and you are correct, the drivers do remember addresses, so remember that next time you stiff the driver!!!

  11. 3 to 5 bucks

  12. 5 dollars

  13. i dun tip

  14. I worked as a pizza delivery driver throughout college... here is my 2 cents:

Generally, 2-3 dollars is a good tip, since you can make about 4-5 runs per hour during peak times... That's $8-$15 per hour plus your hourly rate from the pizza shop, which is pretty fair since you are using your own vehicle.

I love the guy who said $3-$5... those addresses are known to the veteran drivers and they will always make those deliveries first if they are on a multiple run (2-3 pizzas on one trip out). So if you are a regular customer and tip really well, you will probably get a little faster service.

Just don't tell the guy to "keep the change" if your order is $19.98 and you hand him a $20... Big time insult...

  15. For delivery I tip 4 to 5 dollars. For pick-up I usually tip 2 or 3 dollars. For Subway I tip 2 or 3 dollars as these tips are split between the help. For Buffet I tip five to 10 dollars, have you ever seen the messes those people have to clean up? Some parent lets their kid eat 18 deserts and the kid pukes, the parents expect someone else to clean it up. They bring their kids in and let them throw food around, play with the salt pepper and sugars, spill chocolate milk and punch all over. I just try to be fair, If I can afford to eat out or have it delivered, I can afford to tip. [

  16. Depending if there is a delivery charge or not.

Just ordered pizza last nite and it was $30,which included a $8 delivery charge.

I gave $4 extra. they get the delivery charge money,I heard anyway.

Depending on how far they have to drive to your house I  guess. to mine it was less than 2 miles. It was icy and snowing so for their touble gave them a little extra.

  17. Minimum:

If one pizza -- two dollars and the coin change.

Every additional pizza after that -- another dollar.

If it is late at night, bad weather or a holiday and you feel like being nice -- toss another dollar or two on.  It will be appreciated.

I used to drive weekends for Dominoes when I was in college and I averaged four to five runs an hour.  I made an hourly wage as well plus a certain amount for mileage.

  18. usually 3 bucks or 5 depending on what kind of money i have at the time

  19. 5% It's not too little and not too much.

  20. how much is the bill?   i generally start with $5.  i consider that a fair deal for the guy  driving  the pizza from the  restaurant to me so i dont have to  do anything but order it.

you do know people if order from the same pizza place  often and  you are known as a good tipper  you get your pizza faster and hotter.    the delivery guy does remember things like that

  21. I always figure out 10% (it's easiest) then round up or down based on the service.

  22. At a pizza place, nothing.

If it's delivered, add on about $4. More or less depending on how much pizza and what the weather's like out.

  23. THey already charge delivery charges at most pizza places.  I don't tip at all.  I feel that if the restaurant wants to offer delivery as part of their service then they should be the ones that pay their drivers.

  24. 2 or 3 dollars

  25. We tip $3 and if the weather is bad or it's on a holiday we tip $5.............

  26. Usually you should tip 1-4 dollars, but it can change on the circumstances. If it took long to arrive tip less, and if it was quick tip more. If the initail delivery fee is high that average then tip lower. Keep in mind that the drivers work mainly off of tips, so be nice, they have to stend a whole workday using up gas, and we all know how expensive it is.

  27. Tipping is not a city in China.
