  1. Take a bullet proof vest and bone dome!

  2. there is a web site called The Lonely Planet, go on to there , they write travel books world wide, they have a chat board where you can find out from people that have been there, what you want to know, or go in to a

book shop and find the book there, they have every thing you need to know in them

I use the books all the time when travelling over seas

  3. Grenada is a nice place, the ppl are really friendly. I would suggest you go to Gran Anse beach, it is really nice. It gets crowded every day, so go early. Also, you may want to buy some drinks and put it in a soft cooler, getting drinks can be quite a walk depending where you are located on that long beach. Their is a Grocery right opposite the beach by Coyaba Beach Resort.

For dinner go to Aquarium Restaurant, it is near the airport. They have really nice steak and Lamb.  Another restaurant to visit is Verandah in Port Louis. It is new and a fantastic seafood restaurant.

Make sure to rent a van. Not much choice, they will all be Suzuki Vitaras.:) Get a map and drive across to the centre of the island to the Grand Etang lake and rainforest. It is about a 1 hour drive but as you get past the towns and into the forest, the scenery is amazing and you will most certainly see monkeys at the roadside. At the lake, there is a track you can take that goes all the way up a hill that overlooks an untouched valley, really some to see!

For a quiet day at the beach, Rex Resorts has an amazing private beach with lounging chairs. It is hard to get in, but just approach the guard booth and tell them you are visiting Andrew in the dive shop which is also located on same beach.

The nightlife is pretty limited, The only good club is Bananas which is near the University. When you get to the front gate, they will ask you if you are going by the bar or into the club, which is another part of the venue. I would suggest you go to the bar, because many times they announce free wristbands to enter the club. If they do not by the time you are ready to check out the club, just go back to the entrance and pay the difference for a club wristband. In the Bananas compound they also rent scooters during regular working hours.

Alocohol is pretty cheap, They have two popular domestic beers, it is Carib and Piton which normally sells for EC$5.00.

Also, at the Esplanade Mall next to the cruise ship terminal, their is a juice store that sells freshly made frozen drinks using various Caribbean Fruits that you choose on the spot, really something worth checking out.

Another must see is the seven sisters Waterfall hike. You will most certainly need a guide and good shoes, but the waterfalls are amazing and COLD.

Well that is it for now, write me back if you need any more info.
