Question:

Tips On Buying Skateboard?

Hey, I'm 15, I'm a beginner at skateboarding. I have a cheap skateboard from Toys "R" Us. So far I'm just learning basics like riding it, turning it, and going down slopes, now I can ride pretty well down a decent slope, but I can't do any tricks yet, I'm struggling with an ollie.

Anyway, I want to buy a better skateboard, mainly for just riding down slopes, and going on small ramps. I think I'll use the cheap skateboard I have for tricks since I may break it trying to do tricks.

I want a good skateboard that fits my needs, around $80 or less, unless you can't get a decent one at that price. I don't need any pro hi-tech skateboard, just a good, fairly cheap one.

  1. yeah get ride of those cheap skatebaords they won't last long anyways, you can get a fairly good skateboard for around $80. get any name brand skateboard and you'll be doing alright.  SOme good brands to look at are blind, almost, darkstar, chocolate, girl, plan b, element, enjoi and one of the best is zero. A locla skate shop probably won't have what you're looking for in that price range they're fairly expencive. They may have a blank deck or a store brand deck thsoe are usally just as good, you'll need to check that out first. Online is your best bet for finding a cheaper one.
