Tips for Dance Team tryouts ?

So seven months or so from now (APRIL) I will be trying out for my college's dance team! Thing is, I'm a senior now in high school and haven't had dance training since 5th grade and then did a bit of cheerleading in middle school. I still have decent flexibility, but my dance technique is totally whack!!! PLEASE, someone give me some tips as to how I can not look like a fool at dance team tryouts.

And they ARE in 7 months, so if you have workout plans or month-by-month things i could do thatd be AWESOME! try for best answer !

  1. i would suggest taking a pilates course, im sure your school or a gym in the area offers them. also make sure you pratice practice practice to your favorite music in front of a mirror so you can see waht you look like dancing. you could also video tape your self and let peers criticize or comment on your techniques.
