Tips for Middle School?

Question

This is my first year of middle school(6th grade) and I am excited yet nervous.I've been asking questions non-stop and my brother is sooooo annoyed!One question I have is..do we need to bring all the supplies on the first day?I'm going to design and organize my locker anyway.I'm going to bring the supplies already bought and put them in my locker.But what do I bring to my classes the first day?

Btw,I need tips and I need them FAST.I'm starting school next week!So any tips will help,thanks!=)

generally if you have a registration period, you should be able to ask what you need. But generally all that you will need to take to lessons is equipment such as pens, pencils, coloring pencils, ruler..those kind of things. Hope this helps, good luck at middle school you'll love it.

you don't need any real supplies on the first day, i'd just bring a folder w/ some paper in it and a pen/pencil... some tips: make as many friends as possible! having more friends will make your transition to middle school much easier xD

You don't need to bring all supplies on the first day, but it would be smart to bring some so you're not overloaded with supplies the next day... usually if you're going to a new school you don't work on the first day, you just talk and get used to the school, have fun in middle school yo.

What I've learned no matter what grade I've been in is if you received a list, bring everything on the list unless it is otherwise stated.

You may not use it, or you might.  Better safe than sorry in my opinion.

Either way, if you choose not to bring everything - that's a good way to make friends, asking to borrow something...sometimes starts conversation.

wait, just ask the teachers, or usually they tell you what you need on the first day and then theyll give you a few days to get everything. dont worry on getting everything on the first day

Don't sweat IT! Middle school isnt to hard! I made it through all those years. I would bring all the supplies on the first day so then you have it when you need it.  For your first class just take like a notebook and pen if you need anything else the teacher will let you know for the next day! good luck in middle school! omg its so awesome. You meet tons of new people and the classes are good too. I think for the first day you should just bring a water bottle, a notebook, and a pencil and pen. You can put these things in your backpack (or locker).

Well all schools are different but what you should do is bring as many pencils that you can put into your bag. usually people will ask they can borrow your pencil and when that happens you might not get it back. ha ha. so bring all the books you need of course. bring a bunch of erasers. uhmm bring as much paper as you can bring and make sure you have extra paper in your locker because it gos fast. Dont get nervous because 6th grade is no different then fifth grade, just harder work(; it gos by fast too so take it in while you can(: good luck.

middle school is very easy, just listen to whats going on.

i went to a big school and we got maps, but we really didnt need them, you just haft to relax. you will know people in your class, and changing classes are really easy.
