Tips for a freshman about to start high school?

I'm about to start High school and idk what to expect.Any Suggestions?

you'll be challenged more...if the teachers are doing their jobs! ummm?

at first the upper class-men don't particularly like the freshmen then they get over...... just be nice.... keep your mouth shut, don't hang around the loosers who are always starting fights because of something stupid....and don't get pulled into drugs, and stuff.....don't go to any wild parties! and your 1st year should be a smooth..... oh ya don't try dating......it'll waste your time!

First of all...don't be scared. Nobody throws you in trashcans or stuffs you in lockers. Ha ha so don't worry.

Secondly, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! That is the most important rule in high school! If you want to pass your class do your homework!

Be respectful to teachers. Honestly, the old 'my teacher hates me' thing gets pretty annoying in high school. Your teacher will be nice to you as long as you are nice to them, it's a two way road.

Join clubs!! You will find older friends who can help you in school, and it's fun!

Don't be intimidated...the halls get really crowded, you just have to push your way through, literally.

And finally....don't try to be cool. Really. Please. Be yourself. Trying to be cool for the older kids just wastes your time and theirs.

That's high school in a nut shell. You may be starting but I'm almost done!! yeah!! But be careful, it goes by fast. Have fun while you can!

Don't try to fit in too hard. Just be friends with the nicest people you've met, regardless of what they look like.

Do your homework, take the quizzes, keep your grades decent, and viola.

but make good friends, value your time, don't procrastinate, get involved, grades always matter, make good choices
