Tips for activites for a fun & casual date in downtown Toroonto? Restaurant (which?) and activity (what k?

Question

I would like to take a girl out to a casual and fun date. I would like her to dinner in a casual but romantic restaurant downtown near Lake Ontatio, so we can take a walk by the lake after. I also want to have some other activity; something like a movie but a more interesting and outrageous. I would like it all to be in downtown Toronto.

I am from Kitchener which is about an hour from TO but my hubby and I frequently go to TO for fun.  I love the idea that you want to walk the lake.  

Last time we were there, we went to the Elephant and Castle  which was a great meal for a great price.  We got on the Street car which was sorta romantic in itself and rode down to Lakeshore.  

I wanted to go to the Beer Bistro http://www.beerbistro.com/ and it is a little more pricey but looked wonderful.

We went to a concert but how about mini golf?  I don't know if they are around the Lakeshore but that is a great date, from this woman's point of view.

casual and fun, then try the old spaghetti factory on the Esplanade, or Marche move n pick on Yonge.  then you are close to the water.  Also check out Mariposa cruise lines because they have a jazz cruise with dinner and dancing so that is very different and also pleasant if you want to leave a lasting memory

"Mysteriously yours" Dinner Theatre = you won't be disappointed. It's fun!  Be sure and tell them that it's someone's birthday or anniversary.
