Tips for cosplaying?

Question

Where's the best place to get stuff for cosplay? Like wigs, costumes, and make-up? And if I'm going to make my cosplay outfit, what are some tips you could give?

The best place that i know of is ebay..u can find several different varieties there

but if u didnt want it from the internet..then try Target..but it kinda depends o what anime ure searching for..

Well it depends really who you are going to be. If it's from a moslty well know anime like naruto or bleach or someting from clamp then it will be on ebay or amazon gurantee. If it's from a smaller anime like Zero No Tsukaima look it up on google and you should get alot of anime sellers online :D

A lot depends on who you will play, but any theater craft costume shop could be able to supply you (short of making it yourself).

A lot of the costume can be forgiven if you nail the character

Really good places to get anime wigs are www.amphigory.com

They have a lot of anime out on e-bay, but if you can make the outfit yourself and it looks good, then that's even better.

Also if you enter a cosplay contest, the judges eat up originality and if you did the whole costume yourself..
