My new family doctor has diagnosed me with this after 3 years of visits on and off to the surgery! Wondering if anyone here has tips to cope with ADD (Attention Deficient Disorder.) What have you found to be helpful?

Thanks ;-)

  1. Hi,

I don't know much about adult ADD but I work with kids with ADD and ADHD.

Due to the tendency to get distracted, I'd suggest keeping "to do" lists.

Read as much as you can about it, one forum I found to be good is: http://www.addforums.com/

    Are you taking meds?

Many of my kids take cod liver oil supplements, some research out there suggests it helps concentration.  Cut down on caffeine etc which makes you "buzzed" and spacy.

Not sure I've been much help, but good luck anyway :o)

  2. Here's a very good solution that will work for anyone with this disorder without drugs or seeing a therapist:

Also in the future this technology looks promising:
