  1. It is so important for preemies to get the antibodies from mom's milk. keep pumping, and before you give him a bottle, try to get him to take the breast. My daughter was nine weeks early, after her 4 week hospital stay it took a while, but we got her to do breast and bottle. try to keep pumping, especially because he was a preemie. It can be exhausting, I know, I was in your position. You can do it though :)

just make sure you pump as often as you feed him, and to get a larger milk supply, keep pumping until a few minutes after the milk has stopped flowing.

    good luck

  2. I agree, keep pumping, and keep trying to breast feed also! Good for you for wanting to! It may help to look at a picture of baby while pumping or to have baby near you to help with let down. Make sure you are relaxed also and maybe warm cloths on your b*****s before pumping? Are you using a good pump? There is nothing better than the baby though for getting the milk out so keep trying!
