  1. Don't get eaten by a bear?

  2. get a guide and listen to their advice - keep aware of your surroundings. As for the fishing do some reading on what tackle is catching them now - sometimes different streamers or buck-tails work better than others - color patterns mean a lot.

Get some sleep - you've got a big trip ahead of you... enjoy!!

  3. If you are going to do any single pilot small plane fly-out fishing trips remember that they do not usually allow you to take a pistol or pepper spray aboard the plane for fear that the pilot could become disabled by a passenger's equipment.  Take a gas operated horn or practice saying "hey bear" with a really loud deep voice.

Remember to take plenty of size 2 clouser streamers.  They can be any color as long as they are black.

  4. get some sleep and stop emailing Roger in the middle of the night.
