Every time I make fruit leather in my dehydrator it gets stuck to the tray and never comes off!!! It drives me WILD!

Does anyone have any tips for being able to get it out once it's dry?

  1. silk pad

  2. The tray in my dehydrator is a plastic one for the fruit leather and I don't remember it sticking...try spraying a bit of cooking spray on it first

    that may help.

  3. Try pieces of wax paper.  Don't cover the entire tray and stagger the paper with openings that will keep the air moving.

I've done that with sliced fruit.
