  1. Hi Allie, great question...

"What is the secret to getting a job?"

The answer is different for everyone but simply put it's:

    1. Deciding what you want?  List everything, no boundaries.  Then pick the top 3 tomorrow.  Then after another day pick the top one.  circle it and move on to step 2.

    2. Visualizing yourself in the job you want?

    3. Believing your own abilities and not settling when someone tells you you don't have enough experience.

If someone doesn't get back to you or hire you that just means something better is coming along.  Strengthen your vision about what you want to do (make sure your mind is wide open when you do this).

It will definitely help you too if you define how much money you want to make a month.  Go big!!  The universe will give you exactly what you ask for in one form or another.

  2. the best advice I could give is to laugh alot before you go in. I always buy a new CD of a comedian before I have a big interview. I listen to it right before I go in and I'm much more relaxed.

  3. You need to be confident, well spoken and dressed for success.  Don't go into an interview unprepared. There are a ton of sites on the internet that have sample interview questions.  Try http://www.career.vt.edu/JOBSEARC/interv... for some good ones. Basically, conduct yourself like a professional and practice interview questions before hand so you are prepared.  In a job like the ones you are applying for, their biggest problem is turnover of employees.  You therefore also need to appear trustworthy.  Think about who you would hire if you were the manager then become that person.

    I hope this helps.
