  1. Keep her on a leash and use a longer low sided dish to collect it in.  Dont talk to her and dont let her see the dish, just let her sniff around and when she looks like she is about to go, slip dish under from behind.  Patience is the key !! she will have to go at some point and if she is on her leash its makes it a whole lot easier for you.

  2. Lol... could you sneakily get her to pee on some paper or cloth outside?  What is the sample needed for?

We had a cat tested for a UTI, and the vet actually used a syringe to take urine directly from the bladder.  Sounds a little intense but they assured me it's much easier on the cat than trying to get urine any other way.  I'm not sure if your vets offer the same option.

  3. 3 months?  Ask your vet to do a cystocentesis.  This is a standard procedure in collecting urine in small animals.  I'm surprised that the vet hasn't recommended this to you already. . .

  4. Take a paper plate and tape it to a yardstick..  slyly slide it under her when she goes.

The act of you leaning over her is a threatening gesture, which is why she stops.
