Tips for getting back into cheerleading shape

So i used to be an all star cheerleader but i had to quit that and now i want to try out for my schools varsity cheerleading team, i have tumbling but im just having trouble getting back into really good shape. any ideas?

  1. i would run miles to get the endurance for continuous jumps and tumbling. the most important workouts will be legs and abs because that controls most of what you do. if you are a base, work on your arms and shoulders. if you are a flyer, stretch everyday!!

  3. Don't listen to those people that say "Anorexia" or "Stay out of white castle." They're just answering for the 2 points. What I would do is eat lots of fruits & veggies, & stretch every night. Personally, I think running is a great way to get in shape.

  5. First you need to stretch everything from your legs to your arms, shoulders, back, neck, wrists, everything,- every night. You should probably condition (push ups, curl ups, squats, jumping jacks, running, etc.) stay away from fast food cause that just ruins all your progress you have made.
