Tips for incoming freshmen

okay so i would just like to hear some tips for an incoming freshmen from people who have already been in 9th grade.

Being a freshman isn't half as bad as people say it is.

The only people that had problems their freshman year at my high school were people that acted like they knew everything, when it was so obvious that they didn't.

You should get involved in lots of activities your freshman year. This is a great year for trying new things, because pretty soon you're going to half to narrow your interests if you want to look really good to colleges.

In your first year, you should try to build a good relationship with your counselor. You can also start to think about the types of classes you want to take later on in high school. It's always good to have a plan.

Meet lots of new people, work hard and try different things! That's the best advice I can give any incoming freshman!
