Question:

Tips for keeping my hair curly/wavey and it not straightening out?

by  |  earlier

I have pretty straight hair, I wash it every second day, it's dyed and it's medium length.

I always try and curl my hair or put some waves into it and they always end up falling out after an hour or two.

I have used hot curlers, hot of hair spray, curling iron... I don't know what else I can try to keep the curl intact.

Any advice? Thanks!

  1. when your hair is wet, try putting a lot of moose in it and scrunching it. then take some large chunks of hair and some smaller and wrapping them in curlers . blow dry them up in the curlers until they are dry or basically dry . when they are dry, spray them with hairspray . let that dry a second, or use light speed on the blow dryer and let set . take down out of curlers and you should have wavy/ curly hair .

  2. use shampoo and condit for curly hairs its really helps to keep up curls

  3. I was heard of that Kehl's has great Shampoo and Conditioner.

  4. while ur hair is on the iron spray hair spray on it .....i have the sam e promblem and it works

  5. Well, there is the HS styler but it costs around £100 but it is amazing. it is 100% ceramic so the curls stay intact. My hair is like yours but when i started using this, it made a massive difference! The curls stay in whilst you go to sleep without hairspray! no matter how much you pull or tug on your hair, the curly won't come out unless you wash your hair. To make it even more stronger, you should but some curling mousse on. Much more effective than hairspray!

  6. Just use a different kind of spray.

  7. use shampoos and conditioners for making your hair curly. avoid straightening it, and use mouse. once youve styled your hair use hairspray. a lot of it. make sure its maximum hold too. [:

    good luck.[:

  8. My hair is very straight and never holds on to curls, the curls just drop out as soon as I've curled it. I use V05 Gel Spray (mega hold) and it holds the curls in much better.

  9. Have you tried using this tip? first buy a volumizing mousse  that boosts volume since you have straight hair, anyways wash your hair put some of that mousse on, like 2-3 egg sized dallops on your hair than air dry and shake it off. after that put on some hairspray all over your hair and start scrunching and your done ready for any occasion. hope it worked.

  10. There are irons that you can attache a piece to it that will make it curly or wavy, or semi-curly. I saw it in shop-rite and face values

    they work- i think
