Question:

Tips for losing stomach fat?

Hello, I asked a question yesterday and got some really good answers, so I figured I'd ask another.

From yesterday's question:

"I'm keeping a ~1500 calorie a day diet, and going on the treadmill for about 25 minutes a day @ 5mph (planning on increasing the time as time goes on.) I sweat like a dog after that."

Now, I would like to know, while the treadmill is working out my whole body, what are some tips on how I can also get rid of my stomach faster at the same time? Having a potbelly sucks.

Thank you..

  1. You didn't give any indication to your age, which can make a difference in dealing with belly fat. Changing hormones can play a role in hard-to-lose midsections for some people.

Are you getting enough sleep? Insufficient sleep causes extra stress which skews hormone balance, or it can signify an imbalance already happening.

Have you considered you pH levels? Our bodies function much better when we are not leaning towards the acidic side. Fruits, veggies, minerals, and lots of good water will help to balance your pH.

Finally, stubborn weight around the mid section can be an indication that your liver is not able to keep up with processing and expelling toxins. A good natural detox program may help to improve liver function which may in turn help to rid the belly fat.

    Hope this helps :-)

  2. You have to increase your cardio to at least 45 minutes for quick results.  Your fat burn doesn't even kick in until after 30 min.

  3. I found the best way for me is with herbal tea and daily exersise. I workout 4 days a week and drink wu-yi tea 2 times a day. Heres the best place to get the tea. http://www.wu-yireviews.com They have alot of diet info there also. Like i said it works great for the belly fat. Good luck

  4. Nothing. You cant target fat loss. You lose weight in even proportions throughout your body. Anyways, rapid weight loss is never a good idea. When you burn calories too quickly and dont replenish them, your muscles burn down. Since your muscles require the greatest amount of energy, they will depleat from rapid loss of calories. It may seem like youre losing weight, but since muscle weighs more than fat, your simply shedding your muscle.
