Tips for meeting up with buyer from Craigslist

I have my phone up for sale and someone wants to buy it and has approved of meeting me someplace in my town so its close to me. What should I do, say, when meeting this person and any tips on what I should be prepared for or anything.

How did you guys agree on payment?

Cash? Be firm about it. Tired of people letting things slide.. then they meet me and say "Oh.. I only got [$20 less than agreed price]... is that okay?"

All of my in person transactions have been in public places (libraries, starbucks, mc donalds) so do that. Otherwise, it's not worth it to meet them in a private place. What should they got to hide?

And as a safety measure, always stay within arms reach of the person. Never give the oppritunity for someone to run off.
