  1. Don't get yourself into a state the examiner  is not looking for a perfect drive just a safe one. If you do not understand a direction ask for it to be repeated, If you are reversing and get yourself into a tangle don't be afraid to stop the car move froward to straighten yourself  out before reversing again. The examiner may be making notes but that does not mean you have done or are anything wrong. He/she will not be friendly he will be formal and this is not designed to put you off but to keep things neutral an enable you to concentrate on the task in hand. Most examiners want to pass you  but will not do so if they doubt your ability to drive safely with due consideration to other road users.

Best wishes rely on skill and Lady Luck may  smile upon you

  2. -Always keep both hands on the steering wheel.

-When you stop ALWAYS look both ways.

    -Stay at the speed limit.

-Make smooth stops, and don't brake suddenly.

-Make sure your car's equipment works (turning signals, emergency lights, horn, windshields, etc).

-Obviously, study up on your DMV handbook.

  3. Relax and remember that if you don't succeed, you'll try, try again.
