Tips for my jazz exam?

heey

my jazz exam is in less than a week. i am pretty confident at it and i have been doing jazz for 8 years so i am prety good. I have everything sorted/ But do any of yous have any tips for me? i really want to get high marks and i love it so i hope i do.

  1. First, don't stress about it too much.  You know your routine, have practiced it and can almost do it in your sleep.  Also, you know the steps and can do them.  Now, you might be taught by another teacher who has a different style than what you are used to.  Don't get frustrated.  Watch and learn, listen and ask questions if you have to.  Keep your lines long.  Point toes unless told otherwise.  Take deep breathes, stay calm even though your insides feel like they have butterflies.  Don't compare yourself with the other dancers.  Just watch them and see what they do.  When it is your turn, just do your best.  The judges know you are "anxious" about dancing but want to see what you can do.  Smile.
