Tips for not getting so wasted at the races.?

Last time i went i got wayy to drunk too fast and dont even remember how i got home .. i think it was the sun that hit me .. not sure. HOw can i drink all day without getting too sloshed and still hav an awesome time ?

  1. Eat Rice Crackers whilst and before drinking it helps absorb alcohol.... stick to 2 drinks and hour works well too... and remember to take panadol before you go to bed and when you wake up and have a glass of water available... and perhaps a bucket.... your still likely to feel gross.


  2. get hydrated before you go. eat. and limit your drinking. stay in shade if you can. end of the night drink more water to lessen a bad hangover.

  3. One word... Moderation.

  4. Drinking all day is not a solution for avoiding drunkenness. I would say just a couple drinks and then be done. If possible, try to get someone as the driver and make sure he/she doesn't get drunk lol :()

  5. Well you can't drink all day with out getting liquored up, but to limit the damage you really just have to pace yourself, thats all there is to it really. Plenty of water before and after and I especialy recommend a berocca before bed,  plenty of food before and while you are drinking. Have a good time!

  6. eat in between every few and dont try to catch a buzz so fast or keep up with others.

  7. Eat (a lot of) greasy food before you go drinking (burger, fries, something greasy).

    DO NOT drink on a empty stomach/when you're hungry (eat greasy food, then drink).

    The grease more or less prohibits the alcohol (which normally goes into the blood trough the stomach) to enter the blood.

    Note: more or less prohibits, you can still get completely wasted, but I can drink 8 glasses of beer this way without feeling a thing, and without being trained in drinking.


  8. First of all moderation. Spread it out thru out the day. It won't go bad.

    This may sound funny to a lot of people but eat rice and a lot of it. My husbands cousin is a teacher and before a party(where some of his students would be there) he would always eat rice. He swears by it. And never drink on an empty stomach. Snack thru out the time as well.  Good Luck
