I am becoming a Jackaroo and would like some tips and info on riding a horse

A jackaroo .... a horse is your friend not yours to boss! become one with him. if you do stock work he will be what makes your day nice  if you are nice to him. if you go on camps you can not just saddle a nother one you just have him .dont over work him let him drink water when he wants put him in shade dont canter and trot if you dont have to as it could be a long day
