Tips for running?

i have to run about a mile for cheer outside.

im really suffering.

i have asthma and its just about the hardest thing ever to me,

  1. first of all some people just have sports endused asthma and some have lung problems which causes asthma. you need to check with your doctor and see if its a serious problem, or if its something that you can strengthen with excercise.

    as for the running situation, the only way to get better at it is to practice what youre getting better at. dont go out and run an overwhelming distance to start out, start small and try to work your way up. go to the track or set out a distance and run at a slow but steady pace, make sure you focus on using your arms to run and not only your legs.

    i also had sports enduced asthma and ran through it but thats not always the case, so be careful. see if you can lengthen how far you run every day, even if its only by a little ways, and before you know it the summer will be over and youll be running that mile faster.


  2. after doing competitive cross country slow I got rid of my asthma. Excercising helps your asthma, it'll get easier if you keep at it.

  3. if you want to get better just practice running it once a day.

    make sure that you strech 5-7 minutes before and after you run to reduce being sore. drink a bottle of water an hour before you run so that you dont get cramps. since you have asthma running is a great oppertunity for it to get better. i've had asthma untill i was 12 because i extrisised every day  ran a lot and did lots of stuff like that. eventualy your body will get used to running a mile and you wont feel you asthma anymore. just run the mile once a day somewhere like a park or your nieghborhood. if you dont know what a mile would be then just run for 10 minutes a day but try not to do it at a very slow pace because that wont do anything for you. hope this helps and good luck running the mile
