  1. 1. You're going to be put in a large room filled with people. Some will look familiar to you. Others wont. But a lot more will than you think. And you'll all flock together, like scared little pigeons being attacked by old people. So no, you won't be alone.

    2. If they haven't already, lots of teachers, principals, etc are going to talk to you. They're going to make you feel welcome. This feeling will pass, when you realize nobody cares. Everything these people say will be a lie. Just watch. You'll probably never see most of them again.

    3. Using your locker will waste time especially if you're only hefting around a few books. You can maximize bathroom time, and just plain not-getting-lost-time by just bypassing the locker for a year when you'll really need it...like when you have anatomy.

    4. Classes do not get any harder from here, unless you choose to take harder classes. Its like a golden rule. Pretty much everybody just wants to skim on by, teachers included. That means all the classes you're required to take might be boring but will also be very easy.

    Unless you suck at math.

    5. This is when you're grades start counting. Everything else was practice. Yeah. I'm serious. I know....they've lied to you all along.....cry it out....

    6. Testing scores (ACT, SAT) are more important than grades.

    7. If you're gonna slack off, this is the year to do it. You have a good excuse (for everything): you're a freshman.

  2. i'm just starting high school too, its just around the corner and uh, don't worry about it, just go with the flow and don't worry about what other people think.

  3. i can't really give you tips..i've been through high school. in my last year now. just be yourself basically. you'll be fine.
