  1. I always write out a couple of math problems I enjoy doing and scatter them among problems that I know I need to work on and improve upon. That way I don't loose my motivation and I am able to keep up the studying. Also, taking a 5-10 minute break every 45 minutes helps me clear my mind and not get frustrated. Good luck with you exam!

  2. well if you have any classroom books ask if you can borrow one or check one out...and if you dont understand something and you dont want to fail you finals i would ask the teacher if they had time to help you in the morning-and just go there early so they can answer all your questionsh

  3. I don't study for finals. Because I am done. I have my math exam in less than twenty four hours, and I am not studying. I need to get a great grade on the test to pass the class. And I can't even study. I am a dumb-***.

  4. i have finals this week and my algebra 2 exam is friday and thats the only one i have left that i am worried about.  I'm just going to read through my notes, do practice problems in the back of the book, and go over my quizzes and tests. my teacher had a day where he stayed after school and we could ask him any questions we needed so you could as your teacher if they can help u with any questions you have.

  6. Hey! I had my Advanced Algebra II final last week and I got a 103% (with extra credit). :)  I'm an 8th grader and I take the course at the high school.

So if you're really struggling, see your teacher.  My teacher does an hour-and-half-long tutor time before every final so that anyone can come in and review - even if you're not struggling.

I write down all of the formulas and things I need to know on a piece of paper or on some notecards.  Since I'm a visual learner, writing things a few times helps me to memorize them.  Then I give my mom the papers and ask her to quiz me on the material on it, like "What is the standard form of a hyperbola?"  I lay on my bed and answer back while she quizzes me.  This way I can think mentally, like on a test, while having that visual aid to study from before the test.

And work on the problems that you especially have trouble on or keep missing.  Work on five similar problems for each one that you're not sure about.  Ask your teacher for a review guide if he/she hasn't given you one yet.

Maybe the flashcard/memorizing studying technique can help you with the metric system as well!  But most of all, keep solving problems and practicing so you remember HOW to use the formulas, not just WHAT they are.

    Good luck!!
