Tips for switching to a different high school (10 points)?

I was homeschooled until 8th grade and then half way through high school my family moved so now Im going to a brand new high school(junior year). I was just wondering how hard is it to adjust if you dont know anyone there. Thank you =)

  1. As long as your not super shy, its shouldn't be a problem. It shouldnt be too hard to adjust as long as you are yourself.

  3. Some homeschoolers have a very hard time adjusting, and for some school turns out to be really easy and fun. Depends on your homeschool/family. If you stayed up with the kind of work expected in school, and if you got out in the community and did things with other people, especially kids, you won't have any problems at all. But if you only worked around home most of your days and did the bare minimum workload, then you have reason to be nervous. You WILL get used to school and to the kids, but you will probably have a few bumps along the way. Have a positive attitude and try to observe everything carefully. Smile and introduce yourself, be friendly and pay attention in class. Now is a good time to get into school life.
